India has witnessed, at multiple times, LGBT (Lesbians, Gays, Bi-Sexuals, Trans-genders) rights activists – but the most famous and well-heard activist remains, transgender Lakshmi Tripathi. The eunuch has no reservations about admitting her true identity to the entire world and joyously celebrates her life.

Lakshmi, one of the most scandalous contestants on the fifth season of Bigg Boss, discusses her orientation very openly and is not afraid to admit that she has undergone breast augmentation surgery to make her body more feminine. While entering the Bigg Boss House, Lakshmi revealed that she especially engaged a dress designer to stitch elaborate embroidery designs on all her bras so that she would be able to flaunt her ‘assets’. She also expressed that she was jealous of the ‘natural’ assets that the other female contestants in the house have.

While in the house, she has already shared her views with her fellow contestants and has received a variety of reactions – including a very embarrassed nod from internationally-renowned Rajasthani folk dancer, Gulabi Sapera. But, Lakshmi continues to maintain her bold personality – a move that is bound to ruffle some feathers in the house at some point.
